Artist - Joe Haisaishi
Album - Laputa: Castle In The Sky
Year - 1986
A true legend among modern composers Joe Hasaishi has spent most of his career beside the legendary and brilliant Hayao Miyazaki. Any one of Miyazaki's films scored by Hasaishi could be here on the list but I personally enjoy the balance of blending classical, jazz, and synths on Castle in the Sky the most. this is an essential soundtrack to have in any collection.

Artist - Jonathan Kirkscey
Album - Won't You Be My Neighbor
Year - 2018
Jonathan Kirkscey captures the spirit of Fred Rogers to the T. Beautiful and playful but serious in tone, Mr. Rogers is not only an icon he is a modern hero who has shaped the world as we know it today and Jonathan Kirkscey stepped up to the plate and delivered with the humble respect that you would expect.

Artist - The Blasting Company
Album - Over The Garden Wall
Year - 2016
This soundtrack is just pure adultery, it has it all; blues, ragtime, synthpop, orchestra, and glamrock. Some might find it geared towards children but clear your mind from that nonsense and give it a listen. The Blasting Company keeps the under tone as serious and heavy as the underlying story in the series and might even get you choked up.
